Landscapes of Nostalgia was an Intuitive Art project that took place at Honest Ed's as part of the farewell celebration hosted by Toronto for Everyone in February 2017.

 

Participants were invited to contribute in the painting three iconic Honest Ed's bargain bin wooden tables. Each table had a theme:

 

"My Toronto"

"Honest Ed's"

"There's no place like this place, anyplace"

There was also a sit-down art station for making little works of art on paper, as inspired by memories, stories and nostalgia relating to Honest Ed's as a long-standing Toronto landmark.

The painted art tables will continue sparking curiosity and creative inspiration in their new homes at a local library and two elementary schools.
